Expert Patient Programme
The Expert Patient programme is a NHS plan to educate people with longer term conditions (which can include tinnitus) so that, by understanding their condition, they are better able to manage and control it. This in turn will provide a better quality of life whilst reducing the demand on NHS services. The programme consists of training courses for trainers and education courses for patients, sponsored by Primary Care Trusts.
