We're celebrating!
We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund.
We will use the £10,000 to develop and update our website - so look out for changes happening here!
The announcement was made at a celebratory breakfast networking event that we hosted at our head office in Sheffield, which was attended by a number of local business representatives.
David Stockdale, Chief Executive Officer of the BTA, said: “As the BTA is funded entirely by membership contributions, donations and legacies it was fantastic news to hear we’d been awarded £10,000 by the Big Lottery Fund, which significantly boosts the charity’s income.
He continues, “The BTA website is a key source of information for those that experience tinnitus, as well as their families and friends, and hearing professionals. The current website is visited by thousands of people each month but could benefit from a refresh. Now, thanks to the Fund, we will be able to provide an up to date, engaging and more interactive website which will significantly enhance the charity’s offering.”
