In this section we will update you on the progress of the Tinnitus Priority Setting Partnership (PSP).

April 2012

  • The research partners at NIHR National Biomedical Research Unit in Hearing are now very busy editing and refining questions from the responses we've recieved. The next questionniare to vote on your prorities should be out soon.

March 2012

  • 824 completed surveys came back via Survey Monkey and though the post which is fantastic. Each one of these now needs to be read through to see if they are a true uncertainty, if so they will proceed on to the next stage of the process.

February 2012

  • Surveys coming in both online and in paper format. The deadline for completing the survey is 28 February 2012.

January 2012

  • The survey is still online has been completed by hundreds of people so far, for which we are so grateful, but we still need more. If you are a clinician or a patient with tinnitus or an interest in tinnitus please go to www.surveymonkey.com/s/JLAtinnitus and fill in a copy or you can download one from this page. The deadline is 28 February 2012.

December 2011

  • The JLA Tinnitus Priority Setting Partnership Survey is now finalised, please click here to go to the survey online, if you would prefer to complete the paper version, it is available to download on the right hand side of this page (please note as of 28 February the survey is no longer available)

 

  • The JLA Tinnitus Priority Setting Partnership Initial Briefing Meeting was held on 7 December 2011 and was a hugely successful event. Delegates attended from across the UK and represented a range of charities, companies, hospitals and services, all who deal with people who experience tinnitus. Presentations from the meeting can be viewed by downloading them from the right hand side of this page.

 

  • The Initial Briefing Meeting, which is being held on 7 December 2011, is going to be well attended. There are a range of delegates attending and we are sure the meeting will be very successful. Details will be available on the website shortly after the event.

November 2011

  • Invitations have been sent out to organisations to attend the James Lind Alliance Tinnitus Priority Setting Partnership Initial Briefing Meeting, which is being held in London on Wednesday 7 December 2011.

October 2011

  • We are pleased to welcome a new member of the Steering Group, Professor Christopher Dowrick. Professor Dowrick is the GP representative for the Steering Group and as such will be an important part of the Tinnitus Priority Setting Partnership.
