Eddy Temple-Morris

Music producer and DJ Eddy Temple-Morris is perhaps best known as the host of XFM’s specialist music show, The Remix, which is aired on Friday nights from 10pm till 2am.

His show has a huge following and has helped launch the careers of a number of now-famous acts, including Kasabian.

Eddy also regularly DJs at nights around the UK and Europe and has supported a number of well-known bands, including The Prodigy, on their UK tours.

Eddy co-founded Manumission’s Ibiza Rocks – a now well-established and highly popular dance event – and, before XFM, was the main presenter on the MTV show Up for It Live. He also presented shows for Atlantic 252 and BBC Hereford and Worcester, co-presented the Pepsi Chart on Five and Takeover TV on Channel 4. He is also the voice of motor racing magazine show Mobil 1 The Grid, shown on Five, Motors TV and Speed in North America.

A tinnitus sufferer himself, Eddy has been instrumental in helping us reach out to a new generation of people with the condition. During Tinnitus Awareness Week 2010, he hosted a music event on the BTA’s behalf to help raise awareness of the dangers of loud music.

Eddy is the son of Labour peer and former Independent-Conservative MP, Peter Temple-Morris.

Eddy has written a message explaining why he is supporting Tinnitus Awareness Week, which appeared in the Winter 2010 edition of Quiet. Download it opposite!
