" I have been invited to become Patron of the British Tinnitus Association, and am delighted to put my name to an organisation which fulfils an important role in raising awareness of what can be an extremely debilitating condition.

I am well aware from my connections with other charities how difficult it is, especially for smaller organisations, to raise funds and increase awareness and I do hope that, by using my name, I can contribute in some way to the continuing work of the BTA."
