Tinnitus Awareness Week Preview

Last updated on 26 January 2011

During Tinnitus Awareness Week 2011, the BTA will build on the success of our 2010 campaign, which addressed the impact of exposure to loud music and how this exposure can cause tinnitus and permanent hearing damage.

Activities will be aimed at reaching people of all ages, while focussing specifically on those who are exposed to loud music, whether via a personal music player or at home, public concerts or nightclubs.

Events will be running all over the country, organised not only by the BTA, but also audiology departments, hearing aid providers, local tinnitus support groups and contacts, musicians, DJs, students and more. Full details will be published on the website as each one is confirmed. If you are running an event and would like us to publicise it, please email info@tinnitus.org.uk or call the office on 0114 250 9933.

Tinnitus Awareness Week 2011 information packs and posters are available to download here. Due to demand, our supply of pre-printed packs has been exhausted.

If you have any questions, please contact Krys on 0114 250 9933 or email krys@tinnitus.org.uk.
