Last updated on 16 December 2011
The BTA has launched a dedicated online forum for professionals working in the NHS who treat people with tinnitus.
The forum, which will be hosted on our website, has been created in response to many requests from those working in the field. A need was identified to provide professionals with a space where they can share ideas, best practice and discuss the challenges faced in the field.
We already offer extensive resources for professionals, including Tinnitus Adviser Training, an Annual Conference, an wide range of free publications and updates on tinnitus research. Many of these are available free of charge on the website.
The forum has been created to provide a unique, confidential, tinnitus focussed resource for professionals working in the NHS.
To access the new forum, professionals must first register on the website www.tinnitus.org.uk and then join the forum at www.tinnitus.org.uk/forums/5.
David Stockdale, CEO of the British Tinnitus Association, said: “As the UK’s leading authority on tinnitus, the forum is a further extension to our existing services for professionals.
