News Racing for tinnitus Car racing enthusiast Ian Cochrane has decided to use his love of motorsports as a vehicle (see what I did there!) to raise awareness of tinnitus. Ian has had tinnitus for about 4 years and has been using information from our website to help him manage his condition. He contacted us about promoting the work of the British Tinnitus Association at the race meets of the MG Car Club events in the form of branding on his race car. Ian's wife and daughter will be at the first race at Silverstone with their collection tins to raise money for the BTA. Ian and his family use a combination of earplugs and ear defenders at race meets but it's interesting to hear that there's not normally any provision made for hearing protection at these events. Good luck to Ian and family at Silverstone on 30th April from all of us at the BTA.
