MSc audiology student Sam Chapman from University College London (UCL) is part of a small two-person research team that will be investigating the experiences of those who have tinnitus and who have been given online tinnitus consultations as a result of Covid-19 restrictions.

He would like to invite you to take part in this study and tell him all about your tinnitus as well as your experiences with online tinnitus healthcare. He will explore with you what you think worked well and what you think could be done to improve the service.

Sam is looking for English speaking adults, over 18, who have experiences of at least one specialist online tinnitus consultation either from the NHS or a private provider.

He is aiming for each interview to last only 30 minutes but they will last no longer than 60 minutes.

Sam is hoping that this research will help services and clinicians to understand the patient journey and perspective so that improvements can be made for everyone involved in this community.

For more information and to take part, email Sam.

Ethical approval for this study has been granted and seen by the BTA team.
