How will the webinar be delivered?

You will require internet access, we will be using Zoom Webinar. A camera and microphone are not required, you will be able to submit your questions using the Q & A function. 

The zoom link will be included within the confirmation email once your booking has been processed. You will also receive a reminder email on the day of the webinar which will include the link. Who will be delivering this session?

Gaynor Chittick
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Gaynor is currently Head of Audiology Services at Liverpool University Hospital NHS Trust (Aintree Site).

Gaynor graduated in Biology with a BSc (Hons) from the University of London in 1990, and then successfully completed her specialist audiology training, - qualifying as an Audiologist in 1992. She has since achieved MSc equivalence via the Academy for Healthcare Science.

Now Head of Audiology Services at the Liverpool University Hospitals (Aintree Site). This service was the first NHS Audiology service to obtain (and maintain) full accreditation by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS) standards.

Gaynor's main areas of expertise are Tinnitus & Hyperacusis and Adults with Learning Disabilities, and she has been working with these patients throughout her career in the NHS. She set up and developed the Adults with Additional Needs clinic at Liverpool University Hospital NHS (Aintree Site).

She is currently the lead for the Audiology-led Deafness and Tinnitus Clinic, which is a one-stop approach for assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with tinnitus. In addition, she facilitates a very successful Tinnitus Support Group.
