We are delighted to be bringing the BTA Tinnitus Information Day to Birmingham. This event is free of charge to attend but you must please register. Please feel free to bring along a partner, friend, interpreter or person of support.

Saira Hussain from Aston University Audiology will be joining us to host the day with expert talks from Tony Kay, Head of Audiology Services at Aintree Hospital and Dominic Bray, Clinical Psychologist at Southport & Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust.

Our tinnitus experts will be giving talks about:

  • Basic facts on tinnitus
  • The impact of tinnitus
  • Audiological and medical treatments available
  • Psychological approaches to managing tinnitus

Aims of the day

  • Familiarise patients and families on all aspects of the impact of tinnitus
  • Draw attention to the therapy choices
  • Have an opportunity to share information.

Other highlights

  • Taster sessions, giving you the chance to sample stress management therapies
  • Local service exhibitors on hand for advice and information; whilst we do not endorse particular companies or products, we are endeavouring to bring together a variety of options for the convenience of the tinnitus community.
  • Free refreshments and a light sandwich lunch are provided!
