A 60-minute webinar providing further information on how you can provide support for young people with tinnitus. This webinar will also include a live Q & A with our guest speaker.

Please note we will be using Zoom webinar for this session, please ensure you have this service available on the device you plan on using for the webinar. 

What will the webinar cover? 

The session will cover:

  • How to support a young person with tinnitus
  • What can young people do to manage their tinnitus in different environments into account such as school, college etc.
  • Management techniques for anxiety 
  • How to talk to parent/carer/teacher/friends about how their tinnitus impacts their life/well being

How will the webinar be delivered?

You will require internet access, we will be using Zoom Webinar. A camera and microphone are not required, you will be able to submit your questions using the Q & A function. 

How long is the webinar?

The webinar will be 60 minutes.

Who will be delivering this session?

Dr Zara Jay
Clinical Psychologist, University College London Hospital Trust

Zara has worked as a clinical psychologist within the child audiology service at the Royal National ENT Hospital since 2006. Within this role Zara supported young people experiencing tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia and dizziness. In addition, Zara also contributes towards the MDT assessment of young people considering cochlear implantation.

Is there a charge? 

Yes, there will be a £3 per attendee for this webinar. 

As a charity, we receive no direct government funding, the cost of the ticket covers the running cost of this event including organisation of the event and additional functions such as live captioning on the day of the webinar.
