A 60-minute webinar exploring tinnitus and hyperacusis. This session will include an overview of hyperacusis, discussing what it is, the link to tinnitus, possible treatment options, and management techniques.

Please note we will be using Zoom webinar for this session, please ensure you have this service available on the device you plan on using for the webinar. 

What will the webinar cover? 

The session will cover:

  • What is hyperacusis and how it is diagnosed? 
  • What is the difference between hyperacusis and misophonia?
  • What is the link between tinnitus and hyperacusis?
  • Possible treatment options for tinnitus and hyperacusis 
  • Management techniques
  • Where to find additional support 

How will the webinar be delivered?

You will require internet access, we will be using Zoom Webinar. A camera and microphone are not required, you will be able to submit your questions using the Q & A function.

The webinar will be 60 minutes.

This session is aimed at those with tinnitus and hyperacusis.

Dr Kathryn Fackrell
Research Fellow, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre

Kathryn has experience and expertise in psychology and healthcare, particularly in tinnitus and hyperacusis assessments and management.

Is there a charge? 

Yes, there will be a £3 per attendee for this webinar. 

As a charity, we receive no direct government funding, the cost of the ticket covers the running cost of this event including organisation of the event and additional functions such as live captioning on the day of the webinar.
