What are tinnitus support groups?

There is a network of independent tinnitus support groups around the country supported by the BTA. All support groups are different, but generally the benefits of joining one are:

  • Development of new coping skills
  • Learning new, practical ways of dealing with problems
  • Learning to relax and managing stress
  • Feeling more in control and an increase in confidence
  • Gaining inspiration and support from others

What if there is not a group near me?

If you are interested in starting a support group, please contact Colette Bunker on 0114 250 9933 or by email to [email protected]. There may be a group starting up in your area already, but if not Dave can help you get started. To watch a short presentation on how to start a group click here.
