About the group

The group is run by Alan Hopkirk, Clinical Director at The Invisible Hearing Clinic in Glasgow. Alan has specialised in Tinnitus and Hyperacusis treatment for many years. He regularly attends cutting-edge research seminars to ensure that he is up to date with the latest evidence-based treatment protocols and research.

This group is also a BTA Gold Standard Tinnitus Support Group

Message from group organisers: 

As COVID-19 continues to spread and the UK has moved into the “delayed” phase, we would like to reiterate how we are responding to the global health crisis.

By our recommendation, and echoed by the BTA, the next Glasgow & West of Scotland Tinnitus Support meeting for Wednesday, 6th May 2020 has been CANCELLED. It’s a decision we do not take lightly but the health of our Members and their loved ones is our first priority.

The next scheduled meeting is for Tuesday, 28th July 2020. We will be updating our webpage and social media outlets with latest information. Please check them regularly or look out for our email updates or simply phone on 0141 226 2268.

The meeting will be free but a suggested donation of £5 per person to support the group would be appreciated.

Free tea/coffee/water and biscuits also supplied, with a chance to talk to others affected by Tinnitus, Hyperacusis and associated conditions.
