2019 Meetings

  • January: Feedback and goals - we will be getting feedback about the group meetings, to prompt new ideas, and a chance to set your own goals / resolutions. 
  • February: "This Helps Me" - We will be asking members to share an activity with the group which helps take your mind off of tinnitus. From painting to crosswords, we'll use this time to share some light hearted activities which might occupy the mind more than the tinnitus! 
  • 5th March:Colin from Sarabec to do a talk on different types of equipment available that can help with the symptoms of tinnitus.
  • 2nd April: Nikki Sinclair will be holding a Bonsai Chi taster class.
  • 7th May: Ann Welsh will be coming in to talk about aromatherapy. ‘Aromatherapy is an alternative form of holistic therapy that uses essential oils to help improve and balance you both emotionally and physically, while helping you to take time out for yourself, to be mindful and to reconnect with yourself, even for a moment. The aromas experienced through aromatherapy and essential oils have a dynamic effect on the mind and body.’ Sharon Branagh to talk about mindfulness.
  • 4th June
  • 2nd July: Angela at Meditation Cotswold is coming to speak about meditation and how it can help tinnitus.
  • 6th August: Anna Newton to speak about herbal treatments that help with tinnitus.

  • 1st October: Guest speaker: David Stockdale, CEO of the British Tinnitus Association
  • 5th November

2018 Meetings

  • September: BTA Introduction - Colette Bunker
  • October: Hearing / Balance Specialist - Nikki Stephen
  • November: Sound Therapy - Come in from cold with a nice cup of tea or coffee and take time to relax! There will be different sound therapies, afternoon tea, and peer to peer support. 
  • December: Preparing for Christmas with Tinnitus - peer support and the possibility of a Christmas drink or meal.
