About the group

Welcome to the Harpenden, Luton & St Albans Tinnitus Support Group at Spire Harpenden Hospital, Harpenden.

The group is organised and facilitated by Mrs Fiona Bateson, Chief Clinical Audiologist at Spire Hospital and welcomes patients from Harpenden, Luton, St Albans and surrounding towns and villages.

With invited speakers and talks on a range of subjects associated with Tinnitus from relaxation to Hearing Dogs, we hope to provide a helping hand and support for Tinnitus patients as well as tea and cakes.

When the group meets

Our free meetings take place bi-monthly on a Thursday evening from 7:15 - 8.45 pm and we hope to provide a friendly, welcoming group providing Tinnitus information and support to patients of all ages.

For Tinnitus Awareness Week, Fiona Bateson, Chief Clinical Audiologist at The Hearing Practice in Hertfordshire, is appearing on BBC Three Counties Radio on the Nick Coffer Show on Thursday 31st January between 1-2 pm. She will be talking about Tinnitus and the isolation it can cause and is happy to take calls from anyone experiencing troublesome Tinnitus.
