Support groups Keighley (West Yorkshire) Tinnitus Support Group About the group The group is run by the Audiology Department at Airedale General Hospital in the Education Centre and is facilitated by Katie (Senior Audiologist/Tinnitus Management lead) and Wendy (Audiology Associate Practitioner). It is open to any person who has tinnitus and they are welcome to bring along family members/friends if they wish. You will be welcomed with open arms to a comfortable and unjudging environment. It is a friendly atmosphere where you can meet others with tinnitus. We provide refreshments in the form of tea and biscuits at each meeting. Each session provides information/research updates and sometimes we book in speakers who give a talk on tinnitus or related subjects. There is always the opportunity to discuss, listen or ask questions. We are happy to answer any questions however we do not give medical advice during our support group sessions. The aim of the group is to provide further education on topics relating to tinnitus. You may develop new coping skills & increase your confidence through support and information from others who have tinnitus.
