About the group

The group offers support and presentations relevant to hearing loss to all people living within the Borough of Milton Keynes who suffer from mild-profound hearing loss, Tinnitus, Menieres Disease, Cochlear Implants, etc.

The group meets on the 1st Tuesday (a presentation) and 3rd Tuesday (coffee morning, support, information, up to date info on disabled issues etc) of the month from 10.30-12.00 at MKCIL meeting room within the Church of Christ the Cornerstone in Milton Keynes City Centre. All Public Transport goes to Centre MK. We also provide Lip reading classes on the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Tuesday from 1.30-3.30 courtesy of a grant from the MK Community Foundation Margaret Powell Fund. The group also feeds into access at M K Theatre/Gallery, Disabled Groups and MK Hospital, Community Services and MK CCG on Hearing Loss.

The church is directly opposite Marks and Spencer in the Centre MK shopping building. There is plenty of paid parking outside City Church. The building is totally accessible. 

When the group meets

The 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, 10:30am - 12:00pm

On the 1st Tuesday of the month, there is a presentation followed by a question and answer sessions. The 3rd Tuesday each month is a more relaxed coffee morning where friendships are formed, experiences shared, and advice offered.

There are also lip reading classes on the same days, 1:30 - 3:30pm
