About the group

A support group for anyone living in or near to Nottingham, organised by local organisation The Ear Foundation. The group will be an informal, supportive group with a positive attitude towards enabling everyone to live well with their Tinnitus- we will not be able to provide medical advice or comment on specific symptoms experienced by an individual.

  • Tuesday 05 February - Tai Chi with Joy (plus extra date; Tuesday 5th March 1.15pm - 3:15pm for second Tai Chi Session)
  • Tuesday 02 April - British Tinnitus Assocication Attendance from Dave Carr, Head of Development
  • Tuesday 04 June - Joanne / Audrey from Chesterfield Tinnitus Group will be joining us. Friends and family are welcome to the group for coffee and chat. 
  • Tuesday 06 August - Helping people get the best out of themselves and others by understanding the neuroscience of the mind. Tim Buckle - Chimp Management.
  • Tuesday 01 October - Mindfulness Session with Pete
  • Tuesday 03 December - Christmas Social

Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Information Day for adults - Saturday 1st June; 10am- 2.30pm

 Are you or someone you know living with Tinnitus? Are you interested to find out more about the condition including causes, symptoms & support? Join us for day of up to the minute information with tips & strategies to help you live well with Tinnitus.

The Ear Foundation are running a Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Information Day , which is £20 per person (payable on the day) with refreshments and buffet lunch included.

Family and friends are also welcome to attend.

Additional information

Parking: The Ear Foundation does have a small car park, although parking gets very busy on course days so you are advised to use public transport. There is 3-hour parking available on Church Street, the road up from us. Please be aware there are traffic wardens working in this area.

Bus: From the city centre, the bus stop is located outside John Lewis at the Victoria Centre shopping centre. You will need to get bus number 35 or 36 and get off at Lenton Park. You will then walk to the traffic lights and take a left onto Gregory Street and then another left onto Church Street. The Ear Foundation is on the right-hand side
