The Paediatric Audiology Interest Group (PAIG) of the British Society of Audiology (BSA), supported by the BTA, has developed Practice Guidance for working with children with tinnitus.
The Practice Guidance document was designed to address one of the Top Ten Research Uncertainties indentified by the James Lind Alliance Tinnitus Priority Setting Partnership, namely “What is the optimal set of guidelines for assessing children with tinnitus?"
The Guidance covers:
- Tinnitus in children - implications for clinical practice
- Assessment of tinnitus in children
- Management strategies
- Development of a paediatric tinnitus service
