I am Megan Reeves,  a Masters student at the University of Bath and am currently working under the supervision on Dr Elizabeth Marks.  I am exploring some new psychological factors which may act as protective factors against tinnitus-related distress. The research is particularly focused on dispositional mindfulness, self-compassion and gratitude and how these may encourage resilience to tinnitus-related distress. There has been research into other chronic health conditions to suggest the importance of these qualities, but there has been little research in tinnitus. I am currently recruiting participants for my study.

Whether your tinnitus is mild or severe, bothersome or not, we would still like to hear from you. Please click the link below for more information.
