I care for someone with tinnitus

If you are parent, teacher, partner, friend or relative of someone with tinnitus, we're also here to help you.

Tinnitus is sometimes a difficult condition to live with. It often causes anxiety. Anxiety, in turn, often makes the experience of tinnitus worse.

Many people with tinnitus feel isolated because they can’t share the struggle of dealing with the overwhelming presence of sounds they can’t control. Often, people feel that others cannot understand what they are going through as they haven’t experienced it for themselves.

Here we offer advice and support to those of you caring for someone with tinnitus, whether that’s a child, a student, a partner, a friend or family member.
