Research Research news Tinnitus guidelines - have your say The National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) provides expert guidance for clinical practice, which is adopted by healthcare professionals. NICE are currently working on a set of guidelines for the treatment of tinnitus. The BTA is a stakeholder in these guidelines, and we have been invited to offer feedback. To do this, we want to ensure our views reflect the views of people with tinnitus - that means you! The draft guidelines are due to be published on 20 September, but we won't have a lot of time to gather feedback, so we're getting everything ready now, and giving you advance notice. As soon as the draft guidelines are available, we'll circulate a link to them, and also to our online survey for feedback. We will then use your comment in our official response to NICE, which will be available to all on our website from late October. Get involved!
