A BTA-funded research study is looking for children with tinnitus aged 8-16 to take part in a short online survey.

The study is testing a new questionnaire that will help healthcare providers understand the impact of tinnitus on children’s day-to-day life.

Who can take part?

Children and young people can take part if they are:

  • 8 to 16 years old
  • They have tinnitus
  • They have seen a doctor, audiologist, or another person about tinnitus in the last two years

The survey is open to participants worldwide.

What does the survey involve?

The survey will take about 15-20 minutes to do. It will ask children to complete the new tinnitus questionnaire, along with two other questionnaires about sleep and emotions.

Children aged 8-15 will need support from a parent or guardian to complete the survey.

Children and young people will receive a certificate for completing the study!
